Payments & Dates to Remember:
o A non-refundable, non-transferable payment of $500 along with this signed contract is required to reserve an available date for an off site catering event. This payment will be applied to your final bill which will go towards food, and beverage costs. We accept (Cash, Cashiers Check , Visa, Master, or Discover).
o 30 days prior to your event you must make an appointment to speak with an event coordinator to go over the details for your event.
o At this time a formal contract will be drawn up to include your estimated number of guests, menu and beverage selections, and go over any other agreements made between yourself and your event coordinator.
o Final number of guest attending and the final menu selections are due 14 days prior to your event. If no guarantee is received by this date, billing will be based on the estimated number of guests on your catering contact, or the actual number of attendees, which ever is higher.
o Final Payment is due the day before your event. Payment may be paid by Credit Card, Cash, or Cashiers Check. Personal Checks will not be accepted.
General Info:
o All pricing is based off the actual date you reserve, and are subject to change.
o NLBBC, Inc. shall not be responsible or liable to you, the person(s) booking the event, or his/her guests/invitees for any injury, loss or damage occurred.
o Northern Lights Ballroom & Banquet Center, Inc. will not be liable or responsible for cancellations of events out of its control. In the event that the NLBBC, Inc. becomes unavailable out of its control, such as power outages, inclement weather, fires, ext. we limit to a refund of the money given for deposit(s).
o In the event that you cancel your event date 14 days or less you will be responsible to pay for all losses incurred from the event (food, beverage, room rental, labor.)
o Buffets are served as “all you can eat”. After the catered event it is recommended by the Health Department and Northern Lights Ballroom & Banquet Centers policy that all leftover food and beverage will be removed.
Off-Site Info:
o A 7.375% sales tax and a 20% Gratuity applies towards the purchase of all Food and Beverage
o A delivery fee of $195.00 is applied when traveling inside the 20 square mile perimeter of Northern Lights Ballroom, 10376 112th Ave., Milaca MN 56353
o A delivery fee of $295.00 is applied when traveling outside the 20 square mile perimeter of Northern Lights Ballroom, 10376 112th Ave., Milaca MN 56353
o We require a minimum of 100 guest meals purchased for service.
o A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $500.00 and signed contract is required to reserve an off-site catering date. The deposit will go towards the final balance. The remaining balance will be due the day prior to your event payable with a visa, master card, cash or cashiers check.
o Final numbers of guest meals are due 7 days prior to your event. If no guarantee is received by this date, billing and number of guest meals delivered will be based on the estimated number of guests on your catering contract.
